Migrant entrepreneurs in London, England from Tanzania, in 1986 the family initially set up a firm dealing mainly in electronic gifts. They were soon supplying the wholesalers with their own brand of Quartz watches, alarm clocks and the wall clocks.

In 1991, they acquired the sole distributionship for MICRO brand of pens from the manufacturing company in South Korea for their technologically innovative ceramic tipped pens for the United Kingdom.

Over the years and after sales of well over a million pens, the family gained recognition and respect within the Gift and Stationery Trade as a reputable firm to do business with.
